Hide and Seek Game

Hide and Seek is a Japanese game in which you play hide and seek with a possessed doll. This game is also known as Hitori Kakurenbo and one man hide and seek. 

To play one man hide and seek you must have a doll, a bag of uncooked rice (enough to fill the doll), a needle and red thread, a sharp knife and last hiding place. 

 Step 1. Cut the doll and open it and remove all of its stuffing then put the uncooked rice into the doll. 

Step 2. You need to use something from your body so that doll can be connected with you. Don't use anything from anybody else's body. For example, you can put a drop of your blood into the doll or you can put your nail or hair in the doll or anything else which belongs to your own body. 

Step 3.Sew up the doll with the red thread and use the remaining of the thread to tie it up around the stomach or neck. 

Step 4. Go to bathroom and fill a bathtub with water. 

Step 5. Place a cup of salt water in your hiding place. 

Step 6. Choose a name for the doll, so that spirit can be connected more easily. 

Step 7. When the time is 3 AM, say(your name) is the first it, to the doll three times. 

Step 8. Place the doll in the bathtub and switch off the lights of your house. Leave the TV on a static white noise channel. While doing this take knife with you.

Step 9. Go back to your hiding place, close your eyes and count to ten. 

Step 10. Return to the bathroom with the knife. 

Step 11. Say "I have found you (take dolls name)" and stab the doll with knife, this will make spirit angry. 

Step 12. Say three times, "Now (dolls name) is it!" and put back the doll into the bathtub. 

Step 13.Immediately run back to your hiding place. 

While you wait you may here the footsteps of someone walking in your house and objects being move around your house. You will know that the doll is close when the static sound on the TV changes. 

How to end the game? 

To end the game you fill your mouth with salt water and find the doll, once you found it you must spit it on the doll. After doing that you must say "I win" three times then cut of the red thread. (This makes the spirit give up and leave the dolls body). When game comes to an end either burn the doll or discard it from your house. 

Instructions: 

1) Don't go outside the house. 

2) Don't play the game for more than 2 hours. This will result in the spirit getting to powerful and it wouldn't leave the doll. 

3) All the persons present in house should play the game or you can play alone,however you like but if doll found the person who is not playing-this can be dangerous for that person. 

4) When you are going to your hiding place, avoid looking at doll at that time. 

5) Don't leave the hiding place without salt water in mouth as it can be dangerous for you. 

6) While you are hiding, turn off the all lights and don't make any noise.
