10) Feroz Shah Kotla Fort 

Djinns are said to be found in the ruins of this fort. According to Islam. Allah made djinns out of smokeless fire before he made humans out of clay. 

Every Thursday, one can witness people gather in hundreds, to pray and write letters to the djinns hoping for their wishes to come true. 

9) Dwarka, Sector 9 

The Tree near Dwarka, Sector 9 Metro Station has been in lot of news recently because of its eerie haunted experiences by the locals.

People travelling in call centre cabs at night have experienced an energy slapping them and a woman appearing and disappearing or travelling along with the car. 

8) Lothian Cemetery 

It is the oldest cemetery in Delhi. Many English personnels as well as their family members who died during the 1857 revolt were buried here, including one Gen. 

Nicholson, who was shot in the head, which assumingly disfigured his face. Now Gen.Nicholson spooks people at night and people have reported other such incidents around this place. 

7) Karbala Graveyard 

It is a shiite burial ground in BK Dutt Colony, Central Delhi and the last person was buried here in 1985. In the evening, the graveyard fills up with the haunting cries of birds as they fly across the sky, returning to their nests.

6) Sanjay Van 

Is the city forest area near Vasant Kunj and Mehrauli in South West Delhi, it is a stretch of about 10 kms, a green lung of the city but also known to be haunted. 

People have reported the presence of a woman in a white sari swinging on an old Peepal tree. Many encounters of crying children, pushing and ghostly appritions has been reported here ever since its existence. 

5) House NO. W-3 

People have heard sobbing, chilling screams and many other inexplicable sounds emanating from the house. Around 20 years ago, an elderly couple was murdered here, their decomposed bodies was found months later in the underground water tank. 

4) Khooni Darwaza 

A place with such a name, has got to be haunted. The gate of Blood, is located near Delhi Gate, on the Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg. People have reported seeing actual blood dripping from the ceiling and voices screaming out during the night. 

This place earned its name after the three princes of the Mughal dynasty- Bahadur Shah Zafar's sons Mirza Mughal and Khizr Sultan and grandson Mirza Abu Bakr, were shot by a British Soldier, Captain William Hodson on September 22, 1857 during the Indian Rebellion. The spirits of the three princes wander during nights within the monument. 

3) Jamali Kamali Mosque and Tomb 

This is located in the Archeological Village complex in Mehrauli. Jamali, a renowned sufi saint was buried here in 1535 alongside Kamali. 

People who have visited this place have reported being slapped and sounds of animals growling, raging fights and laughing women have also been reported. People are scared to visit here because of tales of unexplainable phenomenon like eerie sounds, sudden white visions and presence of ghosts. 

2) Delhi Cant 

The most popular story around here is that a lady in white asks for lift from the passers by and if you don't stop your vehicle, they say that the spirit starts running with the same speed and sometimes sticks to the boot of the car or jumps over it which has resulted in several accidents. 


1) Agrasen Ki Baoli 

It is located in Delhi, this 14th century baoli was constructed by Maharaja Agrasen, now completely dry, it is once said to have been filled with black water which asked the people to commit suicide. The water is believed to have had hypnotized people and drove them to death.
