1) Rail Accident, Amritsar 

This is the place where a train crushed the people standing on the track during the Ravana Immolation program, in which 62 people died. The Ravana Immolation program is held every year by clearing the Laundry bay. As per a laundry man "earlier the work of washing clothes started from 4 am, but now nobody comes here before the morning light." As per the rumors in the area, people hear voices of screaming and asking for help, some people have also claimed of hearing knocks on the door and asking for water but no one is found outside. 

2) Wakf Board graveyard, Jalandhar 

People have reported getting ill for up to a week after visiting this place, many have also reported strange sightings of a human like figure and terrifying voice that followed them. 


3) Bir Talab, Bathinda 

As per the sources, construction at bir talab was delayed as labourers working here, who spent a couple of nights at the safari, complained of ghosts. They complained of hearing strange noises and experienced an eerie feeling after sunset. 



4) Tagore Nagar, Jalandhar 

As per the legend, there is a braid(choti) cutting ghost, who is believed to cut woman's hair while they are asleep. One such incident took place in this area and the women was under utter shock. 

5) Shmashaan Bhoomi, Patiala 

People travelling at night on the road adjacent to this smashan bhoomi have experienced certain paranormal activities. The one that has been the most common is that of an eerie sound and a cold breeze that hits them on the face. 

6) Haunted House, Upkar Nagar, Patiala 

There is a house in upkar nagar, which is supposed to be haunted by four spirits. The spirits in here are reported not to be harmful but occasionally they commit mischief. 


7) Haunted Peepal Tree, Dasuya, Hoshiarpur

As per the sources, there is a peepal tree in Hoshiarpur which is assumed to be an abode of many unfullfilled souls. At certain nights their presence can be felt and people believe that chanting certain rhymes while passing this tree gives them protection. 

8) Haunted House, Phillaur 

Ghosts had attacked a house in Phillaur. For 20 days the whole family was forced to lock their house and stay in a temple. According to the family members, the utensils lying in the kitchen started flying in the air, and falling out, not only this, the water cooler and the heavy ironing presses of clothes, come flying towards the family members and fell outside the house. This accident happened in the presence of 9 members of this family and everyone was shocked to see this. At night, while they were sleeping in the Dharamshala of the temple, there was a rain of small stones on them. 

After that they talked to paranormal investigators. 

9) Ghost Fly, Ludhiana

As per the locals,a ghost or spirit comes as a fly and takes away the braid. This was also being vigorously promoted on Whatsapp.  Most people had tied neem leaves and branches outside their homes. People believe that by applying neem in front of the house, the ghost doesn't enter the house. 


10) Ludhiana Station

Many people consider Ludhiana station as ghostly. A railway employee committed suicide in a room in the station. People working at the station also say that despite being alone there, they always feel the presence of someone.
